Michele's new endeavor is her Irish Shop. She has created unique products from her photos of Ireland.
Born in Massachusetts, Michele spent her formative years in Miami Florida before relocating to the Atlanta Georgia area with her husband Barry. Always interested in writing, she was an award-winning writer for her high school paper and yearbook. She majored in journalism in college and contributed articles to her college newspaper. She was also assistant editor and editor of many different publications and has written for local and big city newspapers and magazines. For several years she wrote the column Portrait of Ireland for a regional Celtic publication. Michele is also a publisher, illustrator, photographer, travel adviser and webmaster. Currently she enjoys creating a free newsletter about Ireland that comes out periodically throughout the year.
For several years Michele enjoyed being the resident "Ireland Expert" at Ireland's National Tourism Service where she moderated online forums and answered thousands of questions about every aspect of traveling to Ireland. For several years she was the highest rated expert on Ireland at the AskMe.com web site. Currently she is the top-rated expert on Ireland at AllExperts.com. But her favorite place to help those traveling to Ireland is on her own Ireland Travel Forum on this web site where she answers questions free.
In 2004 Michele began presenting her Emerald Awards to outstanding premises in Ireland.
